Please note that the following is meant to give you an idea of some of the things you can do to help promote your book and is by no means definitive. It is important that you should work within your means and time constraints. As you will see, there are steps you can take that require little or no money.




Preliminary Marketing Plan for

My plans to promote
Perfect include:

· Creating a website focusing on Perfect and myself as a writer and speaker.

· Networking by attending and/or participating in the several literary conferences held within my area and/or travel to ones within my budget.

· Participating in my local writers’ group’s monthly “Promo Nite.”

· Arranging book signings at local bookstores in my area.

· Attending my upcoming class reunion and updating my information through our Alumni Association.

· Joining our local Women’s Council thus giving me more networking and speaking opportunities to promote the other issues Perfect covers such as the importance of communication and social skills.

· Contacting local newspapers and magazines for reviews and interviews.

· Speaking and giving a reading at our local library during the annual “Local Writers, Local Talent” event.
